Elizabeth Grice, PhD, is assistant professor of Dermatology in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Luther College, and her doctorate in human genetics from Johns Hopkins University.
Grice did her post-doctoral fellowship at the National Human Genome Research Institute, where her work focused on using molecular and genomic methods to characterize the vast topographic and temporal diversity of the human skin microbiome. Her laboratory now broadly focuses on host-microbe interactions of the skin, and their contribution to skin disease and health.
